Greetings from QCFI!
Let me at the outset express my heartfelt thanks
to all members of QCFI who have come in
person and who have sent their blessings & best wishes for wedding of my daughter
Pratiksha at Lucknow on 24th Feb’20 and to the reception held on 29th Feb’20 at
Secunderabad Club.
Our family was overwhelmed with the warmth, affection and love which QCFI
fraternity has showered on us.

Ms. Pratiksha & Mr. Tarun also conveyed their gratitude and love to all members of
QCFI parivar for their good wishes.
Congratulations to Vadodara Chapter for having conducted 21st Annual TQM
Convention in a grand manner. A brief report is given in this issue.
Poka-Yoke / Jidoka / SMED and Karakuri Conclave was organised by Bengaluru
Chapter in association with BMS College of Engineering attracted many participants
including students who derived immense benefits on application of these concepts.
Kudos to Bengaluru Chapter. Many 5S certification audits are done during this period
and more & more units are approaching for implementation of 5S. Few photographs of
certification are printed in this edition.
I wish to draw the attention of QCFI members to go through various upcoming
programmes organised by various chapters and participate as a part of continuous
learning.

Mysuru Chapter has organised ‘Women’s Day Celebrations’ on 8th Mar’20 and
recognised some of the women entrepreneurs
QCFI – Rourkela Chapter also organised International Women’s Day on 8th Mar’20’
in Sector-15, Rourkela. It was very well appreciated by all.
Chennai Chapter conducted 22nd CCQC in Education on 15th Feb’20 and it was a great
success. Report is in inner page.
Congrats to Ahmedabad sub chapter for becoming a full fledged chapter from now. We
wish the chapter to march with 2-3 promotional activities and 2-3 programmes per
month in the propagation of quality concepts
Vizag chapter conducted 2 day Workshop on Integrated Approach on QCs for
Organizational Performance which attracted huge participation from 12 organisations
and was well organised. Congrats to Vizag Chapter
My appreciation to Pune chapter for organising safety day celebrations on 4 th march 20
in a grand way by organising various competitions and recognising with awards.
Our grateful thanks to the author Mr Chattoraj for his articles which adore the inner
pages.

Guwahati My best wishes to QCFI industry members for more and more safe working without
incidents.
Last but not the least, in the present scenario where the world is gripped with pandemic
CENTRE Corona Virus, every one of us has to observe strict social distancing and ensuring
