Dear Readers,

                                     Greetings from QCFI!
QCFI, as all of us know continue to carry out its activities, viz. training / auditing and
holding workshops without any let up in spite of extreme summer all round. It
shows our commitment to quality concepts. Yes, there has been various activities
in April – May’19 by QCFI – HQ & chapters.

Jaipur Junction Railway Station (NWR) has been certified for 5-S on 5th Apr’19. In
fact, this is the first Railway Station to be certified by QCFI. The station is
immaculately kept clean, position marking at parking lots, etc. A brief report is
                                     given in inner pages.
Railways are more convinced with QCFI 5S implementation approach and are
keen in spreading this culture. Hence, I would appeal to all chapters to contact and
explore the opportunities for implementation of 5S.

The programme on Intellectual Property Rights conducted by HQ’s in association
with Bhilai Chapter had good response. All the delegates felt that this type of
programme is very useful for the organisation for patenting the projects done by the
team comprising of 6-Sigma, QC, QIT, LQC, etc.

Our good appreciation to Mr. Shailendra Kumar & Mr. V.K. Singh for initiating
programmes to MSME entrepreneurs on 5S Workplace Management and Quality
Circles. Brief photo report is given in this issue.
