Call for Papers
The organizing committee of ICQCC’19-Tokyo would like to invite each and every one of you related to small group (QC Circle) activity regardless of the type of business or operation.
We call for papers under the following categories

1.Improvement (Kaizen) case studies
Presentation from identifying problems/assignments of the workshop related to Quality, Cost, Safety, Maintenance, CS and Environment etc., to solving them

2. Operation case studies
Presentation summarizing ideas on activities, member’s growth, enhancement of workshop capabilities through continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities

3. Promotion case studies
Presentation by mangers, promoters and/or the Secretariat regarding how to provide education and training, support and guidance as and when required, so as to develop and vitalize small group activities

4. TQM and Small Group Activities  
Presentation dealing with small group activities under TQM promotion, and/or linked to TQM activities such as Quality Assurance, Policy Management etc,.

5. Small group activities at each respective country
Presentation reporting activity or promotion status, history or development of small group activities at each respective country

6. Others

Competition Stream
Since 2007, the Competition Stream has been introduced for those wishing to participate. At ICQCC 2019 Tokyo, examiners domestic and overseas will evaluate presentations based on the set evaluation criteria, and either among Gold, Silver or Bronze award will be given. 1. Improvement (Kaizen) case studies will be able to join the competition stream.

Submission of Abstract 15 February 2019
Notification of Acceptance 29 March 2019
Submission of Final report 17 May 2019
Registration Will begin in June


A. Convention Participation Fee

Presenter(s): JPY43,200- per person
(Maximum 5 persons in each group/circle who will make presentations)
Participant(s): JPY54,000- per person

Convention Participation Fee includes access to all presentation venues, proceedings in CD-ROM, welcome reception and convention kit

B. Farewell Banquet

Participant(s): JPY10,800- per person


C. Plant Visit

Participant(s): JPY10,800- per person

Separate registration is required for B. Farewell Banquet and C. Plant Visit. Application will close at maximum capacity.
