Prime Minister is repeatedly insisting for social distancing to break the chain of virus and recommended to adopt work from home & e-education process for schools, colleges & Institutions. Now online training by an organization National repute like Quality Circle Forum of India and the guidance by industry experts can really help students and institutes to cope up with the challenge to complete their curriculum and also add value to their degrees to become asset for industry.

QCFI is recognized as the institution representing The Quality Circle Movement in India and has represented the country in several international forums. The organization has successfully implemented Quality concepts under the TQM umbrella across several industry verticals who have experienced a phenomenal enhancement of their work processes and productivity after implementation of Quality Concept Tools.

In-house Training and Orientation Programs is QCFI’s main strengths and has conducted numerous such training programs effectively. These in-house programs are based on Quality Circles integrated with TQM and related concepts. On 31st December 1982 the Quality Circle Forum of India was registered as a non- profit and non-political organization under AP Public Society’s Act.

QCFI represents India in the 14 nation International Committee (i.e. Japan, Korea, Philippines, Hong Kong, China Taiwan, Bangladesh,Singapore, Sri Lanka,…….) that has been set up for organizing International conventions on Quality Concept Circle, annually. To date, QCFI has organized three International convention in India. In addition, chapter convention and National convention are held every year where members present case studies and
technical papers are discussed by leading Quality Concept Practitioners. In India QCFI operates through 34 chapters/sub-chapters/centres located in various states across country.

QCFI has well structured board with An objective to guide and suggest for smooth
functioning of QCFI, the board comprises of elected Directors by the QCFI members, who manages the affair of QCFI. A President elected by the Executive Board is the head and Board also elects two Vice President and one Honorary Treasurer. Regular administration is with the Executive Director who carries out activities as per Forum’s policy and decisions taken by the Board from time to time. At present it headed by Mr. S.J.Kalokhe, President and full time Executive Director Mr. D.K.Srivastava. Since inception QCFI is offering services to various Government and Non- Government organizations viz. Indian Railways, BHILAI-Steel ,NTP-All units, IOC-refineries, NALCO, Bharat Electronics Limited, All Mother Dairy Units, Animal Breeding Centre-A unit of National Dairy Development Vadodara, Adani Powers-All Units, Torrent Power, Vedanta Steel-All Units, Parle biscuits. Hero Honda, Ashok Leyland, AURO University, Reliance Industry, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, JCB, SKF, SUN PHARMA, Exide and many more.

Trainings on various quality concepts i.e TQM, 5S, Quality Circle, Lean Quality Circle, Kaizen, 7QC Tools, 6-Sigma ,Lean Manufacturing & TPM with hand holding to help organization to institutionalize best quality practices and create world class work place by implementing various quality concepts. Good projects are given chance to present their case studies during Regional and National conventions in front of practicing industry giants.

QCFI services and offering has been appreciated by many Government, Public and
private organizations including management institutes.

QCFI has already opened a chapter at SRM University Chennai and collaborated
with AURO University Surat to train their students and organize National Conclaves
on 5S also at AURO campus.

Now a days, almost all the companies are adopting latest concepts to improve
their efficiency and effectiveness & optimize use of limited resources with the help
of competent workforce. Meer a degree is not felt sufficient to fulfill their
requirement. Companies are always giving weightage to the candidates who are
having formal degree with some practical knowledge of latest world class quality
concepts to install best practices in the unit.

Quality concepts are very good tools in the hands of organizations to display
quality of product, quality services level and quality of work force. Companies can
very easily display to their customers that their work processes are world class
and they are capable to produce defect free product to suit market requirements.

Training Methodology:
Online awareness training on all above quality concepts
Review of literature and book reading-Offline
Project guidance by industry experts on phone & WhatsApp groups.
Concept writing and case study preparation on any one topic of choice.

Online Internship Structure:
Each Batch size of 50 students will have one dedicated faculty guide of institute
and two such bathes will be assigned to one QCFI trainer cum expert consultant in
practice as mentor.
Training Process:

Six weeks internship comprises with the five online lectures of 1 hrs to each
group on selected quality subject on any one weekday followed by five day’s
backup work at home.

online parallel training sessions shall be organized for each topic on any one
weekday for a duration of 1 hour and remaining five days of every week shall be
utilized by the students to read available material on internet / books to
strengthen their understanding on the subject and then as per given assignment,
implement the project at Home. In case of any required support they may interact
with their in-charge faculty and QCFI expert consultant through WhatsApp groups.
Last week of the internship period shall be utilized to prepare project report &
case study on the selected topic. Students have to submit their project report
along with case study to QCFI for evaluation.

Registration Process :
QCFI Student Internship Registration form in two parts shall be made available for registration. Interested students will first fill up the Google form & submit for the approval of KEIT placement officer. Once it is approved, they will be allowed to make online
payment to complete the registration process.
Option A  & Option B

Important :
Students of core branches having Broad Band/ Wi-Fi/ high speed internet connection facility & PC/Laptop/smartphone to support Zoom/Microsoft classes App may register for internship on any one topic.
Group size for each internship topic should be Min 50- Max 100.
In case of less than 50 students in any group, they will migrated to group of
other available internship topic.

Internship Duration: 6 weeks
Fees Structure
Option A: @Rs 3250/-(+18%GST) – OPTIONAL with lifetime QCFI benefits.
Breakup Option A = (Rs 2000/- QCFI membership+ Rs 1250/-Course fees) (+18%GST)
OptionB : @Rs 2500/- (+18%GST) without QCFI benefits

20% Special concession on all QCFI publications.
Eligible to attend in National Convention with 50% concession on
participation fee which use to be Rs 5000/-
