31st Annual Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts (CCQC 2017) by Mumbai Chapter

QCFI Mumbai Chapter organized 31st Annual Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts (CCQC) on 23rd and 24th September, 2017 at IES Management Institute, Bandra (West). 240 teams from different parts of the country made presentations on both the days. The convention was attended by more than 1400 participants.

CCQC-Mumbai1 The Convention was inaugurated by Guest of Honor, Mr. Wissarut Sirichai, Vice President, Regional Operations of Smartrac Technology Ltd, Thailand.

CCQC-Mumbai2Mr. KB Bharati, Chairman & Director, QCFI welcomed the Guest of Honor, invitees, judges and participating teams. He briefly covered important highlights of activities & events organized during 2016-2017, with the help of Power Point Presentation. He explained how aptly this years theme Quality Concepts – Creating value to the society, goes in line with our activities of QCFI. The type of awareness we are creating, not only to employees but to their families, educational institutes, healthcare sectors and Worship places have a long term impact on the society. He said through 5S, QCFI is also contributing to “Swatcha Bharat Abnhiyan”.

During the inaugural function, four Coordinators were felicitated at the hands of Guest of Honor.

Mr. Wissarut Sirichai delivered key note address. He mentioned that he was impressed by the activities and various initiatives of QCFI Mumbai Chapter. He further mentioned that normally we do not go to ground level to solve the problems at the operating level but it is observed that QCs have helped workers to solve such problems. He looked forward support from QCFI to train his workmen and start QC movement in his organization in Thailand. He thanked QCFI for inviting him for this prestigious event.

The valedictory sessions on both the days consisted of entertainment and award distribution program.

Mr. JS Malshe, Secretary proposed vote of thanks and Mr. VK Lad, Jt. Secretary compered two day convention proceedings.
