A heartfelt appreciation is extended to all the participating teams, Jury members, Varanasi Chapter Officials, organizations, and their management for their wholehearted support in making the 12th National Conclave on 5S a grand success. Their active involvement and commitment not only enriched the event but also demonstrated the collective strength of the quality movement.  

The 12th National Conclave on 5S, organized by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), hosted by QCFI Varanasi Chapter an in association with School of Management Sciences (SMS), Varanasi, was successfully held at Varanasi with overwhelming participation from organizations across the country. The conclave served as a premier platform to showcase best practices in workplace organization, productivity enhancement, and continuous improvement under the 5S methodology.

The Award Function commenced with a solemn two‑minute silence in remembrance of Shri Ganapathy, Former Executive Director, honoring his invaluable contributions and dedicated service to the Quality Circle Forum of India. This tribute was led by Shri D.K. Srivastava, Executive Director, and Shri Rituraz Mehta, Director.

The event was graced by Prof. Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi, Vice Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University, as Chief Guest, and Prof. P. N. Jha, Director of SMS Varanasi, as Guest of Honor.Senior officials of QCFI present included Mr. Avinash Mishra, President – QCFI Mr. D.K. Srivastava, Executive Director – QCFI, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Srivastava, Director – QCFI, Mr Rituraz Mehta, Director – QCFI, Mr. Vijay Krishna, Director – QCFI, Dr. Ashok Rai, Chairman, QCFI Varanasi, Mr VKB Das, COO (T&D), QCFI, Mr. Arun Moy Chakraborty, Secretary, QCFI Varanasi and other chapter officials.The conclave witnessed participation from 53 organizations, 105 teams, and 329 members (Par Excellence 67 teams, Excellent 34 teams & 4 Distinguished) reflecting the growing commitment to workplace excellence through 5S practices. The two-day program featured team presentations, expert insights, and recognition of outstanding initiatives, reinforcing the importance of 5S as a foundation for productivity, sustainability, and Total Quality Management.
