Co-ordinating agencies are nominated by the management to co-ordinate the activities of the Quality team concepts at unit level in order to ensure their smooth functioning and sustenance.

While QCFI is nurturing through training and promoting and implementing the team concepts  over a 3 decade period, it is felt that a time has come to reinforce once again the values of the team concepts by enhancing the capabilities of the co-ordinators in view of the changing business scenario and hence this national workshop.

Quality concepts integrated with Total Quality Management has been adopted and practised by most of the large, medium and small scale organisations be in manufacturing sector and service sector to withstand for survival in the present scenario of global competition in the business.

In this context QCFI associated with many industrial and service sector organisations in the propagation, promotion and implementation of different quality concepts as integral part of TQM.

In organisations the responsibility is given by management to a senior executive  as coordinator for arranging training, implementation and sustenance. They are also responsible for sending teams to Chapter, National and International level. In case there is some prestigious certificate at National or/and International level that also comes under the purview of the coordinator.

Actually, co ordinator is the backbone for the success of such promotional activities and a change agent for the work culture in the organisation. They must be aware about the different Quality Concepts and there fruitfulness for the organisation. Also the procedure to achieve the best through the implementation different quality concepts in systematic way.

Keeping this in mind , QCFI is organising a 2 days programme for the development of QC Co-ordinators with academic lectures as well as with experience sharing and group discussions.
