Monthly Evening Lecture – QCFI Chennai Chapter


Monthly evening lecture on 22nd August 2016.

The evening lecture for the month of August 2016 was organised on 22nd August 2016 in the Conference Hall at QCFI Office. Mr. S. Ponraj was the speaker and the topic was “Personal and Organisational Development A to Z”. Sri.T.R.Narasimhan, Chairman QCFI Chennai Chapter presided over the session and introduced the speaker. This is the second lecture in the Popular Lecture Series initiated by QCFI Chennai Chapter recently and Mr.S.Ponraj made the session very interactive. He explained the set of behavioral Science based values like right attitude, innovation, behavior, delegation, Quality, happiness, Zeal etc to be nurtured among the people, aimed at the planned change of organizational work setting for the purpose of enhancing individual development and improving organizational performance. Through his lecture he presented a developmental roadmap as part of individual and organization and to manage world class organizations on increasing complexity, diversity, and uncertainty. Mr. A.mayuranathan, Immediate past Chairman honoured the speaker Mr.S.Ponraj with a shawl and thanked him for his provoking presentation.

Mr.S.Ponraj is a trainer and his academic qualifications are Diploma in Rural Service (Gandhigram Deemed University 1973-76), MA. Rural Services (Gandhigram Deemed University – 1976-78), M.A- Demography (Annamalai University -1978 -79), PGDPM – Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (1987) and Diploma in Training and Development, ISTD – New Delhi 1989. He was a social Worker cum Programme Coordinator at Maharishi International Institute of Vedic Science and Learning, Nagercoil in Kanyakumari (Dist) 1981 -1983. He was a faculty member in the field of Behavioural Science at Growth Centre in Chennai (1983-1986) and at PAC Associates (1986 – 1990). He is also a Member in ISTD Chapter, National Institute of Personnel Management, and Madras Management Association. He authored a book on Mananilayum Manidha Aattralum and trained in simplified Kundalini Yoga. He is giving Talks on HRD in All India Radio and TV channels.
