Nagpur chapter has taken special mission in last year to connect members of organization in propogating QC philosophy, which has come out with the results that, we had record break participation of 723 participants, 139 teams form 42 different industries and organization covering pan India. This has happened first time in history of QCFI Nagpur Chapter.

We assure that our existing Governing Council team with their enthusiastic momentum will
march towards new picks of laurels. It was our honour that Mr. D K Srivastava, Executive Director, QCFI Head Quarter witnessed the CCQC-2019. He guided and motivated our Governing council team members.

1. “Best Propagation Organization “award
We have brought fourth all the associated organization showing what all new
invention made by these organization in propagating the mission of quality concepts
so that these organization get acquainted with others.In this competition detailed out
how these organization exercise the propagation.
In coming days, we have plan for interaction with these organization to explore more
possibilities to spread Quality Concepts with respect to government initiative of
“Make In India”.

2. Published Souvenir Sankalp
This is first time we had published our Souvenir named Sankalp.We received very
good response from writers and organizations.
We are very proud and honoured that we received message from Mr.Banwarilal
Purohit, Governer, Tamilnadu.

3. Inauguration of RCOEM- QCFI Center for Human Excellence
Quality circle forum of India (QCFI) – Nagpur Chapter in association of
Department of Management Technology (DMT), RCOEMset up centre for human
Excellence. RCOEM-QCFI Centre for Human Excellence will undertake activities
for industries personnel & students seminar and conference in area of Trainings,
Continuous Education programme and Industries Competition.

4. Spread message of “SAVE WATER”
To spread the message of Save water not only our banners and posters have this
message but we called team of “PANI FOUNDATION” to tell participant about how
to save water.

5. Display “Best form Waste”
This is unique concept by our GC member Mr. Mayur Chapate . The concept is base
on 5S ,we find in industries and organization lot of waste is generated and that is no use as people thought. But Mr.Mayur Chapate has display various artefacts to show how we cane waste thing beautiful.

THE BRIFING OF CCQC 2019
Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) Nagpur chapter organized 30th Annual Chapter
Convention on Quality Concepts (CCQC-2019) on Sunday, 20th October, 2019 at Shri
Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management (RCOEM). The theme for event is
“Quality Concept for Cultural Breakthrough”. The convention included events like Quality
Circle Case study presentations, TQM Tools of management presentation like Kaizen, 5S,
Safety, Six Sigma, Poka Yoke & TPM, Knowledge test based on QCFI guides, Poster
Competition, Slogan/ Poem/ Essay and model Competition.

Around 723 participants attended the Convention. 139 Teams from various corporate and
industries across India participated in various events of the Convention. To motivate and
encourage the industries and organization, mostly first time in India a new category of award is introduced i.e. “Best Propagation Organization” the purpose of this award is to support to motivate the organization in the direction of “Make in India”. 10 companies were awarded.under “Best Propagation Organization” category. 35 teams received Super gold trophies, 77
teams received Gold trophies and 24 teams received Silver trophies.

“Quality is one which meets the specifications and customer requirements and provides
customer delight. In this complex VUCA world which is highly volatile, uncertain, complex
and ambiguous achieving quality needs to be created through creating goodwill in the society, having knowledge. The application of knowledge and skill at the right place and right time is the need of the hour. Getting “sabal & prabal” from “durbal” it’s important to manage “MEN” with “T” – tactically, tacidly, timely and touchingly” asserted Brigadier S M
Kulkarni, the Chief Guest of the Convention.

“Z- Zameeni nishan (to look for information about what the scenario), K-Khabar (to keep
information about your enemies(competitors), I- Irada (to know and communicate the objective or mission), T- Tarika (to formulate a process to achieve the mission), B-
Bandobast (to plan for the resource allocation), A- Administration (to identify infrastructuraland administrative needs to achieve your goal), G-Ghadi Milao (to bring all the members on the same platform for planning & execution)” asserted Major General Rajesh Kundra who shared the mantra of Z KIT BAG success of Army which can be related to today’s management scenario was the Chief Guest for the Valedictory Function.

The Guest of Honor was Mr. D K Srivastava, Executive Director, QCFI Head Quarter. Shri.
Govindlal Agrawal, General Secretary, RCOEM, Dr. Rajesh Pande, Principal, RCOEM,
QCFI members present on dais were Mr. A K Jain, Chairman, QCFI and Mr. Vivek A
Shrouty, Secretary, QCFI. RCOEM-QCFI Centre of Human Excellence was inaugurated by
the guests.

The day long Convention was concluded in the presence of Major General Rajesh Kundra,
Sena Medal, General Officer Commanding, Uttar Maharashtra and Gujrat Area as Chief
Guest for the Valedictory Function. The Guest of Honor was Mr. Paresh Shah, Plant Head,
JSW Steel Coated Products Ltd., Kalmeshwar, Nagpur and Mr. Ravi Bhusari, Social Activist.

All the prize distribution was done in the hands of the Dignitaries on the dais. The event
ended with positive note of enthralled participants of various events.
The achievements and happening in last year is briefed by Mr.Vivek Shrouty, Secretary
,QCFI Nagpur Chapter.

Dr. Vijay Gandhewar, GC Member proposed the Vote of Thanks. Ms. Manju Srivastava, SBI
Nagpur and Life Member, QCFI compered the event.

DMT were also prominently present for Inauguration.
