Shri Raju Modi a science graduate with chemistry and P.G. Diplomas in Industrial Safety and also in Industrial Environmental Technology and Management. As a Quality Practitioner Shri Modi is Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 (EMS) and conversant with documentation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS and US-FDA. He is also a work place Management (5-S) Lead Auditor.
With these qualifications Shri Modi has served many organisations since 1984 mostly in Drugs & Pharmaceuticals companies namely M/s. Glaxo Smith Kline, M/s. Zandu Chemicals Ltd., and presently with GRP ltd. His area of work was mainly in the field of Industrial Environment, Health and safety.
Shri Modi has published technical papers on topics like Safety Performance, Environment Management, ISO 14001 and strategic planning for Hazard Identification, Risk Analysis.
Shri Modi’s contribution to QCFI is in building up a novel team in Ankleshwar Chapter to establish as a trusted partner of Industries for skill development of professionals in western India in the region of Daman/Vapi to Kutch.
Shri Modi has played a key role in establishment of QCFI – Ankleshwar Centre and getting upgradation as chapter by its active performance. He has taken initiative to start a sub-chapter at Surat. Since last few years Ankleshwar Chapter under his leadership has been given the responsibility of Model competition in National Conventions.
Shri Modi is associated in different capacities with other professional institutions like Bharuch District Management Association, Panoli industrial association; he is nominated an examiner by technical education board for environment technology and management course.
Shri Modi is honoured with a number of prizes and awards for his achievements individually and to the companies where he worked due to his initiatives and leadership.
