AIM : Aim of this Program is to develop the participants as Trainers for successful implementation and sustenance of WORK PLACE MANAGEMENT – 5S for longer periods.

OBJECTIVES :
By the end of the 4 days Workshop, all the participants should be able to

Plan and Develop strategy for Training the Trainers
Zone formation and identification of Own, Hidden, and Common areas
Learn to allocate individual responsibilities
Understand the need & importance of Micro Check List by involving people
Understand the need & importance of Self-Audit
Principles of Management Audit & Practices
Develop Standard Practices through involvement of people
Ensure & develop systems for making these practices as habit
Learn strategies for bringing in more involvement of people
Motivate employees to practice 5S with zeal & enthusiasm
Understand the importance of implementation of this system in nearby areas, schools,
homes, hospitals, etc

Profile of Mr.D.K.Srivastava
Mr.D.K.Srivastava has over two decades of industrial experience. Joined QCFI as Regional Director in 1998. He is currently the Executive Director of QCFI. He has undergone
5S course and TPM Course from Japanese Management Centre and HRD from IIIM, Chennai.

He has been trained by Ichiro Miyaochi San of JUSE on Quality Circle and Quality Control Process and by Yamaguchi San of JIPM on TPM Implementation. He is a trainer, faculty and a consultant in the field of Jute Tech with specialization on SQC from JIRA, QC integrated with Total Quality Management, Lean Manufacturing and Lean QC, Quality Improvement Teams, Statistical Tools and Techniques for problem solving, 5S, Kaizen and TPM. Through his innovative approach, he has added strategies to suit Indian conditions. Lean Quality Circles, Simplified TPM, Mission 1 Lakh MSMEs and Mission 1 Lakh 5S Homes are his brainchildren.

He has co-authored many publications on Quality Circle, Practical Guide Book on 5S (Work Place Management), Problem Solving Tools and Techniques, QC Hand Book, TPM, Lean Quality Circle etc. He has developed the concept of Jagruthi Group (Monitoring Group) in 5S, 5S at Home, Shops, Schools etc. Developed 5S Certification systems by QCFI and jointly with JUSE, Japan.
