QCFI’s 10th National Conclave on 5S (Workplace Management) will be held on 15th June’24 organized by QCFI hosted by QCFI Coimbatore Chapter in association with School of Management – Sri Krishna College of Engineering & Technology (SKCET), Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore and the results will be announced in the 5S Conclave Award function on the same day.
Programme: 10th National Conclave on ‘5S’
Theme: Elevate efficiency through the power of ‘5S’
Date: 15th June, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Venue: School of Management – Sri Krishna College of Engineering & Technology (SKCET), Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore
The Conclave will focus on the experience sharing, presentation of successful case studies, 5S implementation in certified units, implementation of 5S in different areas viz., 5S homes, schools, and also creative ideas, Kaizens done by the individuals on 5-S.
Conclave Coverage:
Presentation on Implementation of 5S in Organizations
5S Case Study Presentation using DMAIC Method or 12 step methodology of problem solving
Model Presentation, Home 5S, 5S Kaizen and Creative Ideas
5S Kaizen Competition: Kaizen is also a part of TQM concept for continuous improvement. QCFI has initiated the integration of Kaizen with 5S Concept, as this also is a continuous improvement process. Presentation of innovative / creative ideas / Kaizens done by the employees of their respective units during implementation of 5S.

Top teams will be recommended to participate in the upcoming International Convention at ICQCC 2024, Colombo, Srilanka.
