37th National Convention on Quality Concepts (NCQC) opening ceremony on 4th January, 2024 at Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM), Satyanarayan Nuwal, Chairman of Solar Industries India Ltd., shared his thoughts and stated that the 21st century is all about perfection. “The motto to chase it is to include quality and sustainability into processes. Nations such as Japan have demonstrated that extraordinary things may occur when strict quality control is embraced as a mindset rather than merely a legal requirement. “The secret to making India a global leader and luring international investments is to deliver world-class quality,” he stated. Nuwal was honored as the NCQC’s principal guest at the Quality Circle Forum of India’s annual event (QCFI). An organization that stands for “The Quality Circle Movement in India” is QCFI.

During the ceremony, the QCFI Awards 2023 for quality practices were given out. Kalmeshwar, Nagpur-based JSW Steel Coated Products Ltd. was granted the Best Supporting Organization Award (Private Sector). The winner of the Best Supporting Organization Award (Public Sector) was SAIL, Bhilai Steel Plant, Bhilai, CG. The other recipients under various categories included Shyam Singh from Tata Motors in Pune; Anil Kumar Srivastava, Executive Director, RDF, Trombay; S G Snacks from Dindigul, Madurai; Ni-msme from Hyderabad; and Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai.
