He congratulated QCFI for enhancing focus on this fundamental national need and wished their indigenous Total Quality Model all success for global acceptance!

 

Over 400 delegates from all over India submitted on 100 innovation case studies, technical papers, Organization Success journeys; and over 20 Leaders National professional Leaders and TQM Experts from Industry and academia shared their thoughts and strategies in 15 presentation Halls and Auditoriums! About 100 teams qualified for International Quality Competition, ICQCC, to be held in Sri Lanka in Oct 2024!

Chief Guest and Chief Officer of ABB, India, Mrs Padmasri Krishnamurthy, shared her innovations experiences, QCFI President, Mr Avinash Mishra welcomed the delegates and teams. QCFI president Emeritus, Mr SJ Kalokhe. Executive Director – QCFI-Headquarters and renowned Quality Guru – Shri DK Srivastava – shared phenomenal growth journey of QCFI and introduced QCFI Model of WCM.  Guest of Honour Mr Galiswamy, Secretary & Dr BG Prasad, Principal of Dayananda Sagar Institutions appreciated the Quality drive by QCFI across the country. Mr Sunil Shrivastava, Convenor of the National Summit from Hyderabad Head Quarters shared the QCFI TQM vision for the country to provide indigenous TQM Model addressing strong Indian cultural Quality roots represented by “Sengol” as a mark of “Quality Governance for real transformation”. Mr TR Narasimhan, Director, QCFI, Mr AL Kishen, Director, QCFI, Mr Thej Kumar, Chairman Bengaluru Chapter and many other prominent Speakers Participated in the Summit thanking Bengaluru, South Zone to host 1st TQM Summit. Valedictory Function completed with award distribution to all the award-winning teams.

The souvenir was released in the inaugural function by the Chief Guest – Mrs Padmasri Krishnamurthy, QCFI President Mr Avinash Mishra and QCFI Headquarters Leadership coordinated by Shri R Srinivasan, which contained quality technical papers!

Chairman of the Panel DiscussionDr KN Subramanya, Principal, RV College, Bengaluru summarised the experts’ views and stressed for innovations in TQM mechanisms to make it affordable and “easy-to-implement”. The Others in the Panel were Mr S J Kalokhe, President Emeritus, QCFI, Mr Sunil Shrivastava, COO-TQM-QCFI and Mr Vishwadeepak Khandelwal, Sundaram Clayton, Chennai.   Speaking as Chief Guest of Valedictory function, Mr Nitin Naik, CEO Tata Auto Comp, Pune appreciated the efforts of QCFI for this noble Summit. Guest of Honour of valedictory function, Shri T R Parasuraman, Executive Advisor, Totyota Kirloskar Motors Limited, gave an insight into Total Quality concept, applications and future roadmap to the delight of the delegates. Prof N Vivek, PSG College of Management, Coimbatore made a lively presentation on Karakuri kaizens for the larger benefit of Indian industry.

Sharing of insights, strategies and experiences was done by other eminent speakers namely Mr. Ramesh KV, Managing Director Accenture India, CMM Software, Mr Ranjan Kumar Mahapatra, ED and Country-Head – Indian Oil Institute of Petroleum Management, Mr Vinaya Kumar, Executive Advisor, Toyota Boshoku, Dr Girish Kulkarni, Prof Neurology, NIMHANS.

The vote of thanks was given by the Convenor Mr Sunil Shrivastava, COO-TQM, QCFI HQ, Hyderabad for all the dignitaries, QCFI Bengaluru Chapter Governing Council Members, and to College Organizing Team led by Dr KR Aswatha, Dean Academics, Professor and Head, Department of Medical Electronics Engineering. Master of ceremony were Smt Smitha Venkatesh and Dr Hema Priyadarshini.  About 30 Industrial delegates visited the top companies at Bengaluru to see the TQM best practices.
